Awards
There are a few Awards that are sponsored by SBAOI that will be conferred during the Conference.
- Chandra P. Sharma Award (2024) for global outstanding contributions in the area of Biomaterials and Artificial Organs.
- Distinguished Biomaterials Scientist Award recognizing the contributions made by a scientist in the area of Biomaterial Science;
- Outstanding PhD thesis Award and
- Best Master’s thesis Awards
These awards are on nominations/applications which will be published on the Society website (http://biomaterials.org.in)
Other awards sponsored by SBAOI that will be evaluated during the conference are
- MAHE “Young Scientist Award” for best faculty presentations,
- Bajpai-Saha “Student Award” for best student presentations and
- Best Poster Presentation Award for the presentations during the conference.
While submitting abstracts, delegates can inform their willingness to compete for the MAHE "Young Scientist" Award and Bajpai-Saha "Student Award". They have to submit a four-page extended abstract for the same.
TRAVEL AWARD
A few travel awards will be available for students who are presenting their work at the conference. Students need to apply along with the recommendation letter of their respective guides to be considered for a travel award.
